For the Love of Pete’s annual Putt with Pete Golf Event benefits cutting edge research that is so desperately needed to cure this chronic condition.

This event also raises an awareness about Hydrocephalus and establishes a vital local support system for those living with the daily fear of facing another brain surgery.

In the United States, the number of people living with Hydrocephalus is estimated to be 1,000,000. That is more than Multiple Sclerosis (400,000), ALS (20,000) and Cystic Fibrosis (30,000) combined. One out of every 500 babies are born with hydrocephalus—making it more common than Down Syndrome.

Hydrocephalus does not discriminate.

Developing in anyone from infancy to the elderly, Hydrocephalus does not discriminate and has many reasons for occurring—premature birth, stroke, brain tumor, traumatic brain injury are just a few.
